It appears that the 1st 3D Blu-ray to be released to the masses will be coming from non other than Disney with their CGI film A Christmas Carol scheduled to be released on November 16th. Not only are they releasing the first commercially available 3D Blu-ray they are also taking the combo packs one step higher than everyone else. A Christmas Carol will feature a 4-disc combo Blu-ray pack that will include the 3D version, 2D version, DVD, and Digital copy for an MSRP price of $49.99. I am sure the price will be much much lower at online retailers like Amazon. Anyway, Disney is also set to release a single disc Blu-ray release of the film for those that do not have a 3D ready equipment with an MSRP of $39.99 a mere $10 difference. So you can probably see which is the best deal here. Below is a list of potential technical specifications and supplements.
