Paramount Home Entertainment has announced Shrek: The Whole story for release December 7, day-and-date with the Blu-Ray release of Shrek: Forever After. Shrek: The Whole Story is a collection of all four Shrek movies in one convenient case; and the only place to get Shrek 1 and 2 on blu-ray at the moment.

In order to get you ready for the holidays Shrek: The Whole Story will include 2 new holiday special features:

First comes Donkey’s Christmas Shrektacular, a sing-a-long featurette that stars all your favorite Shrek characters singing classic holiday songs for you and your family to sing along with, Karaoke style.

The second Christmas themed special feature is “Shrek’s Yule Log.” “Shrek’s Yule Log” is a virtual fireplace that you and your family can snuggle up in front of along with more than 25 Shrek characters. I won’t promise it’ll keep you warm, but it should provide a bit of entertainment, especially for the younger children.

Other special features said to be included are: Interactive games, deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes material and a sneak peek at Shrek the Musical.
