Casting of “Jack the Giant Killer” in its Final Rounds

New Line and Legendary Pictures action, adventure and fantasy flick “Jack the Giant Killer” has taken a leap and started with the casting of key roles.  Director of the movie is Bryan singer and the movie has been scripted by Christopher McQuarrie. It runs on the plot of a new era fairy tale.  A princess is kidnapped and a young farmer expedites the giant’s kingdom to rescue her. This brings an end to the long lasting peace between the humans and giants.

The role of the villain is played by Stanley Tucci. He acts as the king’s advisor who devise tactics on commanding power. Fallon, the leader of the giants is a two headed devil. The two heads are being played by John Kassir and Bill Nighy.  Nighy will play for the big head whereas Kassir the smaller one.

The casting for the lead role is still not finalized, although Singer is screening for it since December. Revealed from the sources, the role is most likely to be played by Nicholas Hoult.

Tucci’s upcoming movie is the “Margin Call” and “Captain America: The First Avenger”. Tucci plays the role of Dr. Erskine in the latter.  Nighy’s can be next seen in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part -2”. He plays the role of Rufus Scrimgeour in part-2. He was also the part of  “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollow Part -1”.
