Marvel Studios President talks about the Avengers movie and upcoming Marvel films

The Avengers could have been released earlier but Marvel just decided to push their plans further on and to release the movie somewhere in the summer of 2012. While for some fans it was an upsetting fact that the movie was delayed further on, some of the Marvel enthusiasts think it’s a good thing. Many of the Marvel admirers believe that there should be enough time between the Marvel films in order to deepen the scope. It was only the year before that fans got to see the second installment in the Iron Man franchise.

It so appears that Disney, who now has complete ownership of Marvel rights and even the President of Marvel Studios, believe this similar aspect. For that very reason, release date of ‘The Avengers’ movie was pushed forward and instead they got busy on movie projects like ‘Captain America’ and ‘Thor’. Before Disney and Marvel actually bring out the spectacular in the form of the ‘Avengers’, they intend to give audiences a look at the individual origins of some of the important superheroes who are a part of the Avengers team.

Marvel and Disney are in fact planning to expand the Marvel Universe in quite a distinct manner when they finally get to work on ‘The Avengers’ movie. They intend to bring together the different sides of Marvel into a single film. As for the fans, they might not be getting a glimpse of the Avengers any soon, but the Marvel movies like Captain America’ and ‘Thor’ should certainly keep them busy till the superheroes finally team up.
