It has been confirmed that the romantic comedy by Phil Traill is all set to be released on Blu-ray by British distributors, Momentum Pictures. The film stars Ed Westwick (Breaking and Entering), Felicity Jones (The Tempest), Brooke Shields (The Blue Lagoon) and Bill Nighy (Pirate Radio).

The story of the film follows 19 years old, ex-skateboarder, Kim Bill Nighy (Pirate Radio), who makes a living by working in a burger bar. She soon finds herself entirely out of her element when she starts working as a ‘chalet girl’ for her uber-posh employers, Madsen family on the snow. This is where she also meets their son Jonny (Ed Westwick). Kim soon realizes that she cannot even ski; in fact she cannot even get her job done right. This leads her to teaching herself using a dusty snowboard and soon she discovers her hidden talent out there on the slopes. Soon she realizes that the odds are stacking up against her. Not only does she have to worry about the competition and the championship title that could be hers but as Jonny and Kim grow fond of each other, she believes she might have found real love. Thus the plot of movie revolves around how Kim overcomes all of these obstacles that are set in her path towards triumph.

Thus, quite a distinct storyline like something never seen before and it is a film almost everyone can enjoy. So sit back and wait for the 26th of September when ‘Chalet Girl’ is released on Blu-ray.
