It was recently announced by Universal Home Studios Entertainment that The Change-Up will finally be making its Blu-ray debut. The 18th of November has been confirmed as the release date of the Blu-ray/DVD/digital copy combo pack of this 2011 comedy film.

The film is a body switch comedy that adds a unique touch to this theme. The film stars Jason Bateman, a married man and a father of three kids, who spends a night of heavy drinking with Ryan Reynolds, his single best friend played. When the two friends wake up they realize they have switched into each other’s body and would now have to each other’s life. Leslie Mann, Olivia Wilde and Alan Arkin also star in the film.

It was last month that The Change-Up premiered in theatres; unfortunately the films mostly received negative reviews. Upon its debut, the R-rated comedy fell short at the box office against films like Apes, The Smurfs and Cowboys and Aliens, ranking at the fourth spot during its first week at the box office.

A new unrated extended cut along with an additional five minutes of footage will be features in this Blu-ray release. A 2:40:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio will be included in the Blu-ray disc. The disc is expected to include special features such as:
