The gameplay has been refine and the cover system improved greatly. One feature exclusive to the Xbox 360 is use of the Kinect Sensor. It is used to answer dialog with your voice as opposed to answering with a controller. There are also combat improvements such as the mere stack and standard grenades introduced. Lastly, a four-player co-op has been included.
Another feature is the importing of the gamer’s character from both of the previous games. This will effect how the player will experience the ending. A new trend being seen in games is a plus mode. Bathos allows the player to continue with their finished character and collect the items missed the first time around.
There are new campaign mode which tailors to the different style of gamer. There is the action mode that the combat difficulty is set to normal and the conversations are made with presets answers to move things along. With story mode, the gamer will have to reply manually and combat is set to easy difficulty. RPGS mode has manual answering of conversations and normal combat difficulty. The last mode is true to the mass effect experience from its predecessors.
