Walt Disney Home Entertainment has announced “Chimpanzee” for Blu-ray release on August 21. The Blu-ray will also include a DVD version of the film and Disneynature Will Donate a Portion of the sales through August 27th to the Jane Goodall Institute Through the “See ‘Chimpanzee,’ Save Chimpanzees” Conservation Program. Synopsis:
“Chimpanzee” is the story of Oscar, who lives deep in the African forest and has a wild curiosity. This film shows his remarkable story in his natural habitat. The High Definition film shows you up close how he and his family live play and survive. It is truly a story made to capture the hearts of all ages.
