With the holiday season upon us, the Blu-ray release schedule has been somewhat amiss. Below you’ll find the Big Ones for December 21st to December 28th:
RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION
The fifth film in the popular action/horror franchise will receive several different releases; a One-Disc edition, a Two-Disc 3D edition and as part of the Resident Evil Collection box set. Best Buy will also be offering an exclusive SteelBook edition of the film.
PREMIUM RUSH
The Joseph Gordon-Levitt/Michael Shannon-starring bicycle thriller arrives on Blu-ray in the form of a One-Disc edition that also includes an UltraViolet copy.
KILLER JOE
This Matthew McConaughey vehicle is the new film from The Exorcist director William Friedkin and arrives on Blu as a One-Disc edition.
THE ROOM
Tommy Wiseau’s infamous “black comedy” comes to HD as a One-Disc edition (cover art complete with grammatical errors).
THE WORDS
Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Bradley Cooper, Dennis Quaid, Jeremy Irons and much more, this romantic drama arrives on Blu-ray as a One-Disc edition.
MASS EFFECT: PARAGON LOST
The popular video game franchise comes to Blu-ray as an animated film in the form of 2-Disc Combo Pack.
