Toy Fair 2015: Dark Horse booth

Toy Fair photos and coverage by guest contributor Michael Leventhal.

As I was passing by the booths, I came across Dark Horse and I have to say, they have some amazing resin figures. If you have not seen what they have done with the House Sigil wall plaques, then you don’t know what you are missing. I was able to meet and talk with two of the Dark Horse staff, Manager of Sales Sarah Robertson and Vice President of Product Development David Scroggy.

David was kind enough to give me some insight into one of their newest offerings: a beautiful GAME OF THRONES Daenerys and Drogon statue due out in July. When I say this thing is detailed, I mean that it is detailed. The level of care David has put in has really come through in the piece, even including the minute features such as the spikes coming out of Drogon’s back through the painting process.

The item can be ordered here, and when I tell you this thing will sell out, it will sell out. Truly, if I had the money, this would be mine! Thanks, David.

Dark Horse also has numerous GAME OF THRONES licensed products including Sigil mugs, steins, pint glasses, and other replicas from the show including miniature busts of the Hound, the Iron Throne, and Sigil wall plaques (which have been convention show exclusives).

Their full offerings including comics and a number of other figures from GAME OF THRONES, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, and DREDD can be found here.
