The voice cast has been revealed for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY animated series

During NYCC 2014, I posted an article that Disney XD will be airing a new animated series of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and the voice cast has been revealed.

The series will star Kevin Michael Richardson as Groot, Trevor Devall as Rocket Raccoon, and David Sobolov as Drax the Destroyer, who were all on The Disney XD series AVENGERS ASSEMBLE as well as ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN as their same characters. New to the role is Will Friedle who will be voicing Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord. He previously voiced Deadpool on Disney XD’s ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN and Terry McGinnis on BATMAN: BEYOND. As of the time of this posting, the voice of Gamora has not been revealed, but we will update the post as soon as the information is available.
