This Week in Comics….
This week, we have some excellent new books hitting the shelves. Some new classics and some with older characters that could be called classic.
DC COMICS
BATMAN: ENDGAME #1
The new DC book called BATGIRL: ENDGAME is written by Brendan Fletcher and drawn by Bengal. Barbara Gordon has to face up against a “Joker-ized” mob as they terrorize Gotham. There is “The Battle for the Burnside Bridge” that is worth grabbing this book. This character in the New 52 has really come a long way since the beginning and now she is much stronger than she has ever been.

MARVEL COMICS
All-New Captain America #5
The new Captain America book has caught a little heat from people not adjusting to the idea that Sam Wilson is Captain America. The team on the book is the awesome pair of Rick Remender doing the writing and Stuart Immonen doing the art. They put Sam up against a classic enemy like Hydra and he has been doing an excellent job keeping the world safe. Definitely jump on and pick up the back issues as well.

IDW COMICS
Orphan Black #2
This comic is based on the BBC show of the same name and it is phenomenal. There’s mystery, suspense, murder, sci-fi, romance, and more. The book is written by John Fawcett, Jody Houser, and Graeme Manson with art by Szymon Kudranski and Cat Staggs. The comic follows the clones and there is a lot of great storytelling there. It goes well with fans of the show.
