D23 Expo: STAR WARS is coming to both Disney World and Disneyland!

At the D23 Expo, Disney has announced their plans for a STAR WARS themed section at both Disneyland and Disney World. The new section will have restaurants, shops, and even attractions/rides that will be operated by aliens and species from the STAR WARS universe. It is planned to add 14 acres to Disneyland which is reported to be their largest expansion to date. There was special mention of characters from the upcoming Episode VII to inhabit the section. There is even a Millennium Falcon ride planned that will let you take control of the ship!

This entire undertaking will be amazing and I can’t even imagine immersing inside a universe that I have wanted to see since I was a youngster. Check out some of the concept art below:
