British actor Alan Rickman passes away at 69

This has been a tough week in bad news. British actor Alan Rickman has now passed away from his struggle with cancer at the age of 69. He was known for his work on stage and screen, but mostly for his roles as Hans Gruber in DIE HARD and Professor Severus Snape in the HARRY POTTER series. His final work is the upcoming Disney’s ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS.

Rickman was one of the finest character actors in cinema and he will be missed.
