First images of Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey in THE DARK TOWER revealed

Entertainment Weekly has revealed the first images of Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey in Nikolaj Arcel‘s upcoming THE DARK TOWER adaptation of Stephen King’s epic fantasy series. In the film, Elba will be playing The Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, while McConaughey will be portraying the Man in Black. The film will also star Jackie Earle Haley, Katheryn Winnick, Claudia Kim, and Abbey Lee.

Currently filming in Cape Town, South Africa, THE DARK TOWER is scheduled to release February 17, 2017.
