Mondo is releasing their first board game based on John Carpenter’s THE THING! They are also releasing some very cool enamel pins from the movie. Here is the press release:
Our first board game – THE THING: INFECTION AT OUTPOST 31 – made its way into local game retailers this month! If you haven’t had luck tracking down a copy, more should be arriving into stores over the next month or two. In the meantime….we have copies of the Mondo Exclusive version available via Infection31.com.
The Mondo Exclusive version is limited to just 1,982 copies and features all the same components as the Standard Edition, plus alternate packaging artwork by Jock (housed in a translucent screen printed sleeve), a signed letterpress print by Jock, Outpost 31 enamel pin and two additional sculpted movers – Dead Norwegian and Palmer-Thing – with expanded gameplay.
