It always seems Dark Horse has a property that’s getting turned into a series and with The Umbrella Academy being a hit last year and The Witcher being a hit this year Dark Horse continues to be at the forefront of major properties. Hitting the sweet spot for collectors Dark Horse had products from their regulars including Game of Thrones and The Witcher while revealing collaborations with Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us 2 (maybe that will be Netflix’s next show!)
The Umbrella Academy
The Umbrella Academy unveiled a series of figure statues, mini-vinyl figures, and other collectibles including pins, keychains, puzzles, coasters, and even a Umbrella Academy umbrella.
Cyberpunk 2077 debuted with a trilogy of figures including Male V, Johnny Silverhand, and Jackie. Also included were other collectibles such as coasters and patches.
The Last of Us 2
From the Last of Us 2 a scaled down Ellie statue based on the Dark Horse Direct mold was also on display.
Game of Thrones
For Game of Thrones fans new John Snow and Daenerys statues were showcased.
The Witcher has a big surge because of the Netflix series while the products from Dark Horse were more skewed towards the video games I hope we start seeing these products pick up!
Dark Horse is the US distributor for First Figures who have licences across the board including Sonic, Zelda, My Hero Academia, Dark Souls, Metal Gear Solid, and Super Mario.
Dark Horse also had both regular and special editions of their Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and The Art of Cuphead art books.
A few other odds and ends including Hellboy Statues and Starcraft Ships
Thanks again to Dark Horse for taking a few minutes to show Hi-Def Ninja around their booth and showing us their newest products.
