Justice is always darkest before the dawn!
2022 has been a big year for Batman. With Matt Reeves’ new take on the Dark Knight hitting the screens, many fans and newer audiences are revisiting some of the Caped Crusaders previous cinematic outings, and you could argue that none stand out more than Tim Burton’s 1989 classic, Batman. Tim Burton’s Batman ‘89 is an astonishing mixture of campiness, gothic sensibilities, Batman lore, and ultimately, fun.
In his newest poster for Vice Press and Bottleneck Gallery, Florey captures the iconic moment Batman descends from the rafters of Ace Chemicals, cementing Keaton’s place in comic book cinema history. Florey’s awesomely cool and moody take on the scene is top notch and his unique variants pay homage to that original ’89 title!
Three versions will be available on Thursday; a 72 hour timed edition of the regular edition to give as many people the opportunity to pick up a copy as possible, as well as two variant editions.
