Apart from Flash all releases so far are almost a physical manifestation of my wants. For me no decent steels for what is one of the purest, self referential pop culture love notes ever put to celluloid. I remember when this came out, I had been away in Oz so hadn't seen this, rented it along with Snyder's "Dawn of the Dead" remake for the perfect movie night that I'm yet to top. A slice of fried gold.

I do wish the back image was something other than a pint of beer and a shot. I'd understand if that was back art for The World's End, but feel as though although they go to a pub in this, the back should be a cricket bat/shovel/record or something else significant in the film. I don't feel a pint of beer is particularly significant in this film as it is in The World's End. Other than that I love the look of it though! Disc art looks great.

yup, totally agree on that. I know its a joke in the movie to go to the pub. But beer have nothing to do with story, IMO !

Holy crap! Target USA exclusive!

On a side note, I really hate that these actual release threads aren't a in the normal steelbook area.

I kinda like releases spread out rather than being bundled. This and Flash Gordon releasing on the same day is a bummer. Will have to rethink my spending habits if this keeps up. I also have an issue with Target online, as I am forced to charge all my orders rather than use my entertainment budget on a different account. They constantly place and release holds so much, messing with the account balances leading to cancelled orders all the time. I wish they would make up their mind and just charge right away rather than state that they charge when ready to ship when they are constantly placing numerous holds during the entire pre order period :punch: :banghead:

This looks fantastic. I wasn't going to get Flash Gordon as I'm not a big fan of the film and being a completionist (is that a word?) doesn't really mean a great deal to me. That being said, I'm so excited for 007 that I desire to get 006 as well. Heh. Sigh.
It's completist so near enough! Lol! :) I think the Mondo releases have all been great so far and I too am looking to have a complete set! Flash Gordon and Shaun Of The Dead are both great choices, now We just need Inglourious Basterds for number 008!:D

I'm very disappointed by this release. I was hoping for another movie like Flash Gordon that I had no interest in. This release is far too awesome. I hate that I'm probably going to have to cave and purchase this :(

I guess I need to learn a bit more about group buys now.

This will make a quadruple dip for me...

But Shaun of the Dead is one of my absolute favorite movies of all time.
