I don't think they will do that now due to these being released

I can wait

They haven't done all of them so they can do the other releases in the style of the others they released and by the time they come out they can work on these ones to match them

I don't think they will ever match the originals probably if they do them again it will probably be all over again and different design to both

As a Brit who lives in Canada,I am happy to pay £7 quid each,for these on Tuesday at Best Buy Canada

£16.99 each is outrageous ,for exactly the same thing

8 out of 9 James Bond steelbooks delivered
7 were shipped on Mon 14th all 7 of these delivered on 18th (4 days)
Casino Royale/Quantum of Solace both were shipped on Tue 15th
Casino Royale shipped on the 15th delivered on 18th (3 days) that was very quick delivery for Zavvi to Ireland

I'm still waiting on Quantum of Solace order that was despatched on the 15th but not yet delivered
Hopefully this will arrive on Monday 21st
Why cant post all get delivered same time as other post sent same time
I'm now left waiting for the one I wanted the most out of the collection as it's not in stock at the moment
If I don't get delivery and want to get a replacement I might be missing one from my collection
Quantum of Solace Stock Status (Availability: Stock will be despatched to you as soon as we receive it from our supplier)

Looks like Casino Royale got a new encode from FOX as I can see DTS-HD MA audio in one of the review sites.

The problem with Zavvi is sometimes a parcel goes on a trip around the world before it arrives and that leads to higher risk of damage or lost in the postal system
Quantum was despatched 30 min later than Casino Royale on Tue 15th so its annoying not to have gotten delivery of Quantum same time as the others

Its listed as available on the website but its not actually in stock so that means if my Quantum steelbook don't arrive the chance of replacement is slim

Aww I really hope that missing one turns up. We've been there with Zavvi whether it's missing or damaged and they say "...tough it's sold out.."

It's crazy they don't keep a good percentage for these contengiencies

Its not a new encode
Its the UK uncut version DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (15 Cert) that was released in 2012 and is the same Disc that was in the UK Bond 50 Box Set
The USA Bond 50 Box set had the cut version

The previous Casino Royale UK Blu-ray from 2007 was the cut version 12 Cert as was the the Deluxe Edition from 2008

Thanks @paulboland. Never knew FOX released the uncut version with DTS-HD MA in 2012. Only have the collectors edition which features TrueHD.

I would keep your copy if I were you of the 2 Disc collectors edition (Deluxe Edition) as this has extras not on the Uncut UK Blu-ray releases
Some but not all of the Deluxe Edition extras are on the bonus disc of Bond 50 Box set and the new Box set Bonus Disc

The Deluxe Edition is still the best Blu-ray for extras with booklet even though its the cut 12 cert version
You can though get the uncut version of the Deluxe Edition from Holland and France

The Steelbook or the 2012 Amaray Version is best version if your not into extras or the Box Sets and just want the uncut 15 Cert Version with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and selection of extras

Goldfinger steelbook was 4,000 print run
Both Amazon and Zavvi are sold out its only available from third party sellers now


Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace are in the UK 1,000 print run these wont be available soon at all
The other 7 UK steelbooks are 2,000 print run and will eventually be sold out and will just take a bit longer than the 2 that are 1,000 print run

Outside of the UK from what I had heard as in USA they are selling well

You may be able to get Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace from USA for a while after UK sells out

Goldfinger is not available from Zavvi its sold out
Amazon is also sold out but is available from third party sellers only

Quantum of Solace is the only one I have purchased so far and I'll get another two next month and so on. If they become too dear, I'll just forget about picking those ones up. I'm only interested in "You only Live Twice", "Goldfinger" and "From Russia with Love". And if they did one of "Godeneye" (not the dire one from a few years ago) and "The Spy who Loved me", I'd pick them up.........
