Pretty cool looking one, here is the official artwork. Little unknown fact, the makers of SteelBook packaging G&M named this their can of the year the year it released.

I just got the "crackle" version of Clash of The Titans and now I reallllllly want to get this so they can be next to each other and possibly make crackle babies but this is like impossible to find!

Good luck! :) Once you do find one they aren't relatively expensive, not sure why, the steel is pretty sweet. Although the film is awful beyond belief.

Wasn't aware of this edition until now. Added to wishlist!

Looks like I'm also in the minority... I quite enjoyed this film. :)

Question about 10.000 BC

How many German steelbok editions are there? Is the one without FSK automatically the crackle lacquer one or are there 3 different ones (CL, w/o FSK, with FSK)? It is sometimes impossible to tell from pictures which one is which...

THANKS for your help!

One of my first steelbooks brought got it brand new for a silly £11! Sold it a few weeks later for £35, regretted it ever since :(

I'm sure this won't be on the top of your regrets list in the end with this hobby.

I don't see how it's harder to find than the clash of the titans crackle. Maybe it had a lower print run? But I have both, and to me, the feel of the clash is way better than this. Maybe I'm crazy. It's definitely still nice though.

Glad to have both. Don't see this version around very often

Maybe due to the German Title on Clash? I went crackle on 10,000 but non-crackle on Clash.

guys i got one today it has the blu sticker on the seal, and the seal if id be able to describe it well its like one of a cigarette pack...(meaning it has the tape that you pull to take off the small part of the seal and then you pull the steel out)
but how can i tell that it really is the 1st edition before opening it? the crackle laquer is a bit rougher than a normal gloss steel?
