I thought it would cost £15 for the steel alone and I do really like the slip and the whole package is worth the extra.. still disappointed with the lenti (hoping that fa would do the unexpected and change it lol) is this steel gonna be the same as the uk one, gloss and debossed title? I really like the uk steelbook.
Hmm... I don't know. On one hand, it's nice to finally see a slip for this film. The front of the slip is awesome, but the back completely spoils the end of the film (even though, yes, I know some countries used it as a theatrical poster). And then the lenticular and artcards are just repeated images from the SteelBook/slipbox, so they just seem redundant. I'd rather them not be there and this be a cheaper package.

I didn't know other countries used spoiler art for their posters.. I'm so glad that when I watched the film I knew absolutely nothing about it a part from the fact John goodman was in it (which was why I watched it) knowing nothing made it so much more enjoyable, I was totally in the dark about the plot which is where I'd want to be with this type of film.. this type of film could be a one watch only deal but I actually am really looking forward to seeing it again and I've pretty much told everyone I know that they've gotta see it asap (it's hard talking about it whilst trying not to give anything away

Yes it is the European edition...I am excited about this as it looks so much better than the North American Release for the steel...Been waiting for this FAc to get this Steel
And I agree with what you say about the movie, I was totally in the dark about the storyline and I watched it without expectations and it was so nice...pretty much you said it all I agree

I've not seen the north American steel.. is it the same art but with a different finish? no gloss or deboss?
I've waited for this since fac announced it.. feels like forever and I've been tempted to just get the hmv steelbook many times but I held out and I'm ok with the disappointment of lenti now and am thinking positive about the rest of the package, I really like the steel and slip and they're the most important things.
Definitely the best way to watch movies is to have no expectations for or against the film.. I watched american ultra last night, I didn't know a single thing about that film and I enjoyed it.. didn't even know it had a SB release.

Just waiting on fa bb the shallows, was hoping to get some info on the slip etc before the uk steel is released but I don't think that comes out for a whlie yet.
@chunk it's a different finish and there's more words on the stairs...I find the european steel more sleek looking without the words. In regards to the finish I don't remember but I do remember when I read about it, it was not as nice of a treatment as the european Steel.. Here is a picture of the NA Steel;

Same here I never read descriptions of films, I go with titles and who is in it, I look at the Poster very carefully and look at what is written on it... sometimes I will read just first sentence to get a feel if it is a movie for me but I am very cautious, I never watch PreviewsI found terribly corny the way the shark dies, it's so unrealistic and it looked like not that great special effects...it was a reaction I didn't like that part, for the rest loved it

I do exactly the same things as you even with tv shows, at the end of one episode they say "and on next week's episode...." I turn it off, why do I want to know what happens next week?? I already like the show, I watch the show so I don't need spoilers even worse when you watch TV shows and right at the start is says "coming up in this episode of..." why do I need to know what gonna happen when I'm already watching the episode
, saves me looking for it, the hdn search thing doesn't always work for me, I usually have to Google hidefninja and whatever i'm looking for and find it that way and that doesn't always work. I don't usually like too much writting on my steels but I don't mind that one
.. it reminds me of Hitchcock for some reason.. or maybe I'm having a crazy moment.. I did watch an unboxing of the hmv steel and I really liked it the artwork and debossed title looked great glossed
after my initial disappointed of the lenti I'm over it.. and getting really excited about the movie again and that amazing slip, I really like it when fac do full artwork front and back... I'd definitely have been a bit let down if the slip was the stairs back and front.. Guess the lenti really isn't that bad after all
@Actarus and @Flloydo I thought the exact same thing about the shallows, I got a little shock when that happened cos one second I'm really engrossed in this well made well acted suspenseful film and then a second later I thought the film editor accidentally edited in a few seconds from the sharkando movie by mistake 
took you right outta the movie for a second but still is a great film, another one I'm looking forward to seeing again and will be my first BB FA release if they do a good job with the slip
