I know I was one of the main ones asking for a title but this just looks too amateurish. Like it was a quick fix to satisfy. They just too the text from the spine (which is a horrible font) and threw it on the front. Doesn't look good at all imo. Its nice that they added the title but if they really want to get it right they need to switch the front and back. Just use zesty's design and all will be good

When I preordered this weeks ago there wasn't a title on it. Now they've changed the design weeks after it's 'gone live'? Surely this should be finalised BEFORE it becomes available to buy? Now this isn't the design I originally went for.

It's this kind of amateurish **** that really turns me off Zavvi!

Oh come on, you can still cancel your order (no GB here remember). Many complained about the artwork and Zavvi have taken the seemingly positive step of altering the artwork but no someone can always put a negative spin on everything Zavvi do. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't!

Of course you could just be trolling which I wouldn't be surprised by. In which case, well done, you've got me

I agree with basically all of this. I like Zesty's exact design, every aspect of it.

However, my main dislike about Zavvi's original design was the glaringly missing title from the front. Using the same "Twelve Monkeys" from the spine at least adds a title and keeps it matching.

Let's pretend for a moment that there was a survey that asked to list preference of the 3 options in order. For me, it would go like this:

1st choice: Zesty's design
2nd choice: Zavvi's new design
Last choice: Zavvi's original design (wasn't going to order)

At least Zavvi has moved up from Last choice to 2nd choice. Like Snooloui says, it's a step in the right direction based on comments in this thread. Overall, I give Zavvi a thumbs up

If they changed it to Zesty's design, they would get two of them bad boys. Oh! and remember, the title will be embossed, and the border will aid in reducing the look of empty real estate

I think we can both agree that Zavvi have actually done the right thing here. They listened to the feedback and acted in the interests of the majority of collectors. Of course they can't please everyone all of the time, which is why you are crying about it. Many members here say that Zavvi need to listen to their customers, well here you go, they have!

Who's the 'majority'? The Zavvi contact within HDN? I don't remember it going to a vote/poll and having a say in it?

It's great they listen to feedback. But could they not present us with artwork BEFORE the item is released so it could be changed BEFORE the item goes on sale?

That would be more proffesional.

I think just by reading the comments from this thread you can see that the majority favoured artwork that included the title on the front cover. I would rather Zavvi retrospectively change artwork which they got wrong than not too bother. It just sounds to me like you are annoyed because they changed the artwork you liked which of course you have every right to be but there are better ways to express it than saying Zavvi are amateurish.

You can't possibly be that against them taking the same matching title from the spine (that you ordered) and adding it to the front. And you don't need a poll to see that the majority of comments leaned toward wanting a title for this. It's all throughout the thread. Ok anyways that's it from me. I ain't mad. Looks like a nice steel. Interested to see the inside choice now.

If they had indeed listened to the backlash regarding this steelbook, they wouldn't have included the title like that, but instead switched the back and the front like most members wanted. Now that was the major problem that was brought up here, and if there had to be an adjustment, I thought that was the one to do, and we'd have gotten a title on the front in the same time - two birds, one stone.

I have no problem with no title, no problem with having a title either. But the font they're using awful, imo. That and the way it's placed on the mock-up... it just looks like a rushed job. And too bad about the "Twelve" instead of a nice "12". "Twelve Monkeys" isn't the title of this film.

I had pre-ordered 12 Monkeys, but I'm not too sure about Twelve Monkeys now. If you want to add a title, do it properly. That + an apparently average Blu-ray transfer could make me reconsider. I love this film but it deserves a great steelbook. They have all the ingredients (that back art that should be on the front) but they're doing it wrong.

if people don't like the artwork then don't buy it, nobody is forcing you's into buying it, but instead they moan and moan about it and take up pages talking about it and they end up ruining it for the people who appreciated the art it in the first place, some people aren't happy until they get it their own way It looks like, I'm not bothered about the title but there was still a lot of people who liked it off the front and if that's the case then it shouldn't be changed and it should be left as it was imo
