It's due as soon as possible, basically. A week 3 deadline seems ok, but I don't see why it should take that long.

Just paid in myself. So let the games begin!

Is the Sunday, 2:30pm EST draft time good for everyone? We could move it to the evening if needed.

If someone drops out before draft or doesnt want in id pay 20 to get in

I think it will be hard to hear back from anyone by then ... more so I'm thinking if its totally obvious a person is not playing and you want to take over their team id be down with that. Last year's league here we had some people who played for like 2-3 weeks then never managed their roster after that.

ps folks, for the sake of my own sanity i will keep going back and editing post #64 with those who have paid.

I was going to send reminders out about the draft, but after looking over the list I made in a previous post, it is incorrect. I'm not sure who has actually joined or not. So some people who've agreed for the buy-in might not even be in the league.

Hopefully we'll get a good turn-out at the draft and we can find out who's in for the buy-in and who's not.

If u hear let me know. Id obviously prefer to draft my own team so thats a big one for me. Just let me know but if i go in i go all in:hilarious:.

Can't believe i missed this, if you need anymore players next year then give me a shout!

I think teh scoring might be a little too low .... Its never quite fun to follow a stat tracker when 80% of your team isnt projected to go over 10 points lol. And that goes for like everyone ....

Maybe wanna adjust some settings up a bit evenly ?

what do you think needs changed?

the settings are pretty basic and mostly default with the exception of .5 points per reception, 3 points for a blocked kick, & 4 points for a safety.

I had gotten into a discussion with a friend of mine and I brought up 30 to 35 passing yards per point should be the new norm with the way the NFL chucks the ball around these days.

I havent checked the scoring settings I just checked many teams projected for week 1 is all. I'm cool with whatever, its just a bit more enjoyable when your players have the chance to least get in the double digits weekly.

I think im used to the 1 point per 10 yards ... maybe that is something you dont have.

I was also a bit concerned when looking at RB sproles for instance ... he's projected pretty high and my guess is cause of return yards. I'm cool with return yards being on ... but I dont want it to the point that everyone will be hunting out RBs who do returns because they week in and week out will outscore even the top 10 RBs in the league. Maybe they are just expecting sproles to run the ball more, but they got 3 quality RBs so I was just worried its not cause of return yards only.

Im down for whatever tho, but just figured i should mention it. One time I played in a league where it was VERY hard to get points and it just sucks the fun out of it.

our offensive settings are currently set to...

1 point per 10 rushing yards
1 point per 10 receiving yards
.5 point per reception
1 point per 30 return yards
6 points per rushing/receiving/return TD
1 point per 25 passing yards
4 points per passing TD
-2 points per turnover

field goals under 40 yards are worth 3 points
field goals 40 to 49 yards are 4 points
field goals 50 yards or more are worth 5 points

at 30 return yards per point, it'll take a monster game for a return guy to really stack up points that way.
