Looks good, especially in 3D, but why the figure?
It's something for people who like collectables with their Blu-Rays, much like when Tin Tin had the Snowy statue. I am sure the Steelbook will be sold separately
Probably just a placeholder image but I'm not surprised they went with that image, thought it would make a good front when I saw it! Going to see this next week hopefully so if it's any good I'll definitely be pre-ordering (The steel atleast) although I'm sure the UK will get this too

Looks cool but i could do without the figurine. Maybe MM or Saturn will get a single Steelbook for this.
Steelbooks are definitely not collector's items anymore. They are already planning to release this movie as a Steelbook too even though it isn't in the theaters yet.
I myself am not so interested about this Spider-Man movie. I think Garfield will do good job as Peter Parker, but I liked Tobey much more. And Lizard being the villain doesn't interest me that much. I guess I wait until they put Venom in it. And in a correct way unlike in Spider-Man 3.
So I think I am going to pass for this one, even if the movie is decent.

Watched it in IMAX 3D last night and enjoyed it, though I was often comparing scenes with the Sam Raimi version. 3D was OK, although there was a bit of ghosting.
