Feel the exact same. And that dreadfulness is part of the experience so I can’t see how that’s improved. I like the back art thoughI watched the blu ray recently. absolutley dreadful, I can't imagine this will look much bettter as 28 Days Later was primarily shot on the Canon XL1, a consumer-grade MiniDV camcorder recording in 480p standard definition. Would like to be proved wrong though.
Regardless of the transfer quality, it's still a nice option for those of us who missed the original steel.

Tuesday 1st September release date apparently (Perhaps because Monday 31st August Bank holiday?)
Dolby Vision & Atmos (approved by Boyle)![]()

Heard the same audio. We all said it when it was announced didn't we mate... ultimately it'll be on the studios head but Boyle putting his name to it does make me intrigued why he'd do that hahaThis is getting absolutely torn to shreds on social media. Someone even finding an audio from last year with Boyle and the interviewer says he can’t wait for the 4K and Boyle replies laughing saying he has no idea what it will improve. Apart from the final part that was filmed on film. He says that part will look nice vibrant![]()

My postie when he finds out he's working bank holiday...Email from HMV just now says august 31st

It’s literally the last scene that will have any kind of visual improvement. I think the sound is really the only thing they can improve on the whole filmI re-watched the Blu-ray release couple of weeks ago and I'm curious to see what they have done to the PQ to justify a 4K UHD release
Great film, but the PQ is like pre-VHS![]()
