Part 4 and 1 are the best in the series. The very last film was was weird, not funny or scary.

The Original Child's Play is the only scary one of the series. It got progressively funny which killed the series for me. But yeah, The original Child's Play (1) had me locking my "My Little Buddy Doll" in the closest

Universal has no rights for Child's Play 1 so there is no release in the near future.

The first movie was produced by MGM/UA, the rights were sold to Universal just before the second movie started filming. So the first film won't be released by the same company... Not sure why the later 2 sequals arent included though
