Only my third time showing it

I feel bad that I don't have a lot of space to display my steels. I have to keep my armoire locked most of the day too. Gotta let em breathe

Not quite as rare as your JP steels SlimJim, but I'm definitely a fan. Got that HP and a couple more on order too and might jump on Terminator if it drops again

Thanks man! It's not about rarity it's about how much you love them. You have a great collection started yourself.

I've been wanting Paul for a long time now. Just waiting for the right deal.

How much is terminator selling for? I'm not too into it, but a good deal and I may pick it up just cause.

Also, HP is VERY nice. You won't regret it.

I'll start off. In gathering my JP steels together I was rather ashamed at the fact that I only have 7

I only have Narnia. Lol. Back to the Future trilogy is on its way tho I'm liking the spines on BTTF

I was pretty lucky with all of mine. Paul was part of that bundle that I managed to pick up when the price dropped really low, along with BTTFs and AB. And I think I might have picked up one of the last couple of T2s direct from Amazon at a decent price, as the prices went a bit nuts afterwards and seem to keep rising lately.

I'm also fortunate to have a Japanese mate who gets stuff sent over often, so no postage costs either!

P.S. spent about 30 seconds in Microsoft Paint doing that name card. Came out quite nice

Great idea for a thread SJ! I'll get a picture together, as right now there is no breathing for them. They are all sardined together.

I'll say again, congrats on the Thor. It was a long journey, but that's what makes a hobby fun. Without the hunt and goals, what else do we have?

BTTF and Iron Sky have the coolest looking spines of all steels IMO.

What really makes Thor (JP) so great besides the rarity? The slip is so tiny and it doesn't have a picture of Thor on it or anything cool. I am not trying to start an argument. I am a huge Asian steel fan but I just don't understand the hype around it. Maybe it's one of those you have to see up close?

Slim ... Great thread .... Very fun to categorize and chat about steels by Country .... Plus there should be less arguements as this is the Japanese thread ... not USA, UK, DE etc.

Let's keep if peaceful and have fun! Others are more than welcome to create a general thread on any other Country.

Mike, what a great idea for a thread! I am in the course of taking pics of parts of my collection now. I will post pics as soon as I get to my Jpn steels.

As for BTTF, T2 ver 1.0 and Iron Sky, IMHO, those are great steels for many reasons including the fact that their artwork is not repeated anywhere else ie they are true exclusives. Even if their artwork were to be repeated elsewhere in future (which IMHO is unlikely), their slips or spines cannot be duplicated.

I also like the art on the discs. This is a pic from my opened copy - which I have since sold.

I didn't open it mate (I am crazy, but not insane ). I won a yahoo japan auction for an opened copy. It was minty mint. I could not believe that it was so well kept for an opened copy.

Later, ! managed to buy a sealed/mint copy. Then I sold the opened copy.
