What do you all think of them? Have you seen any? I've seen none so far ...

But I tell ya which one will be OUT OF THIS WORLD ...

Just saw the preview to "The Final Destination" EEK!

Its coming in digital 3D ... That movie is MADE for 3D the way they show projectiles getting thrown at peeps and dying and such ..

:D

I own Journey, My bloody Valentine and F13 Part 3. I'd say so far that Journey was the best looking one. MBV was nice to watch as well. I love watching them and can't wait for more. I find the 3D works a hell of a lot better on Blu then it ever did on DVD or VHS. I've had many titles over the years but Blu takes it for projecting things off the screen. I have never noticved anything projecting on the other medias. As for the technology I am not sure what you are after Mexi. Each movie I have has colour glasses (i.e. red/blue) but the shades are all different for each movie therefor you cannot use the glasses for every movie. That really sucks cause I wanted to have people over to watch F13 this friday but it only came with 2 sets of glasses. the other movies came with 4 sets.

That's why they are trying to work out a system for one 3D format on Blu-ray, which in turn could fix this glasses issue. I am not sure how the 3D ready TVs would help out in this field. Anyone have any idea?

Yeah, that's what I meant. Thanks for letting me know GB. I didn't know if it was the red/blue or clear lens versions.

Yeah, I seen some tv's advertise 3-D ready. It's talking about the clear lens right? Polarized I think. When that is more mainstream I can see myself gettin more into it.

+1 but I can't wait, haha.

I actually talked back and forth with the guy who did alot of all the development work for 3D on tvs i.e. 3D ready tvs and such.

He had a website, who knows I might be able to pull it up on one of my older blogs.

In any case, with tvs that say w/ 3D ready ... you have to buy the kit seperately. They give you some really nice glasses tho and its supposed to be a 3d experience like no other. Its around $200 tho to install this part on your TV and for 2 pairs of glasses ... this was probably 1.5 years ago tho so the price may have came down on the kits.

I know there is already Polar Express on 3D which I hear is pretty good because it was CGI to begin with.

But im telling you, this Final Destination one ... will be THE one to show off.

Go watch the trailer on youtube.

LG Brings Its First 3D LCD TV To Market (In Korea)

After showing off its wares at CES this year, LG has finally announced that its first 3D LCD, the 47-inch 47LH50—will be up for purchase next month. Well, in Korea at least.

The new TV is based on the 47LH50—even sharing its model number—and is functionally identical, aside from the fact that it'll occasionally require you to don polarized 3D glasses. That model number is significant, and bodes well: the old 47LH50 made it to the US, so it's fair to say that this one will, too. No price info yet, but the old one nudged $2,000.
