I do think Zavvi's Disney collection could have done with a bit more love in the votes, particularly the ones released towards the end of the year like Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast.

@UpsetSmiley Possibly, the 25 Steelbooks on this list represent the most nominated. Unfortunately IM Kimchi did not receive nearly enough nominations to make this list. There were over 90 Steelbooks mentioned, but most had 1 or 2 nominations. As is the case every day, there most nominated always rise to the top for this vote based on preference from members.

Some orders were received in Asia before 12/31 (cut off for title consideration for this vote).

I would still count it as a 2015 title just basing off what most retailers consider a release date. The majority of orders have just recently started shipping.

Either way Frozen Blufans gets my vote. It is IMO a perfect example of why steelbooks don't need embossing to be perfect.

its a shame that the nomination process has been done poorly this year to be honest, first drum started up a thread about a chat about it all then later on much later on then digitalbabe started her thread up.
so all the votes in the first thread have been completely ignored as soon as db started hers if you see where i'm coming from.
also people where coming out with various posts with various list 1 then another post list 2 another post list 3 as one example, some people repeated.

I not trying to be pain in the bum but would it not just be easier just to list top suggested50 then everyone can have a better say, rather than a free for all limited by amount people that repeat or put up endless list or posts and limiting to a strict 3 otherwise does not count.

Also would it not be worth starting after the winner is announced for 2014, a new stickied offical nominations thread for 2015 so people can nominate thru the whole year because the steels from earlier in the year are getting forgotten by the process atm imho, you only have to look at the calender release's to see this.

anyway said my bit got it off my chest for what its worth.

voted for what is in the list.

basil

I have a few from that list. As someone who opens them and isn't interested in slips/J-cards etc. I voted for just the steelbook, not the add-on's, contents or the quality of the movie.

As such, my vote went to Maleficent. Love the front with embossing and debossing, spine layout and the glossy finish. The fact the back is plain black doesn't bother me in the slightest. Overall, a quality steelbook IMO.

+1

I also try to vote based on just the SteelBook and not the extras ;)
