Info regarding missing Audio Track at Flicker Alley site and Disc Replacement Form:

*Confirmed: No need to send back the original disc*

Dear Flicker Alley Customer: Please note that one of the bonus feature audio options on the Blu-ray disc of our limited SteelBook edition -- A Trip to the Moon in B&W Audio Option 1, featuring Robert Israel's orchestral score and the original English narration written by Georges Melies -- is currently missing its narration track and only features Robert Israel's orchestral score. As such, all Blu-ray discs shipped at this time will be with this orchestral score only configuration.

This only affects the Blu-ray disc of this set. The DVD disc in this publication contains the correct audio for this bonus feature.

We are currently in the process of remastering and remanufacturing a Blu-ray disc which will have the correct audio option for this particular bonus feature, and will make it available by request to customers who fill out our on-line Disc Replacement Form below.

Please complete the following form with as much of your original order information as possible (to verify your purchase) and we will contact you once the replacement discs have been manufactured and are ready for shipment.

Funny, I just emailed Flicker Alley about a missin replacement disk and asked if it was still available. Josh mentioned they still have these in stock.

I can't add them to the cart either but it might be worth an email if you are interested.

Ordered my steel from Flicker Alley on the 10th, got it in the mail today, in perfect condition. Just filled out the form for my replacement disc. This one is a beauty.

Damm gutted that I canceled my order when this first came out. Thought it would have dropped in price but it went oop instead. Oh well thats the way the game goes sometimes.

So is it OOS or what?

Oos. Don't worry though people. I bet there will be a reprint when the factories run out of titles to release. I'm sure it won't be long. I'm sure there is at least 20-30 different titles, worldwide, being a announced each week. And I bet every title will flood the market so that they are readily available. Studio greed. Steelbooks; a lucrative market.

Sent from my Lumia 710 using Board Express

Try just going to the Flicker Alley website and then searching for the title.

I have heard people having trouble with this before and then they tried the above information and they were able to add it to their cart

Thanks for the tip which worked, but decided against it when reading about the added cost of getting the alternative disc.

Hey guys do you think they still send the blu ray with the missing track?

I just bought a copy and it will be send to my girlfriends house in michigan so I cannot check if the disc has that missing tack. Should I just Send the form when it arrives to michigan?

Is the extra disc for free? Or I have to pay extra?

Thanks.

I had a problem trying to order it yesterday as well. So I called them and they said that it is very close to being out of print. So I tried the website today while I was on the phone with them and it went through so I am happy. So if you are on the fence about this I would go ahead and buy one.

Hi Pickermadrid, you have to go to the website and it will direct you where to put your info and your invoice number then they will mail you a separate disc.
Hope this helps.

They charge something like $4 to mail the replacement. I emailed them refusing to pay for their error and they shipped the replacements to me for free!

I do mind paying the extra bucks, I complete the form and then they asked for money.

I just email them saying Im not willing to pay any extra money because that is not my mistake and because I dont think the have shipped the movie yet so they can put it in the same package.

Thanks for all your help!

Cheers.
