Finally received my copy this morning. It is darker than originally expected, but not so much that you don't know who it is!

There is a slight chip on the back which is annoying though!

I'm in NZ and I just got mine today, gonna watch the pilot tonight in blu-ray HD goodness. I haven't opened it yet but it seems all fine, I don't think it'll have any scratches, so fingers crossed. It is fairly dark, but I love the cover shot, it's definitely worth it imo.

Wish I'd never bothered getting this as its cancelled gutted :(
Why would you not want to buy something you loved just because it was cancelled?

And while this is disappointing, it's not unexpected. I was surprised to get a second season with the ratings it got during the first one, so I was just thankful for that. Bring on the matching S2 steelbook.

If you haven't seen it, just make sure you don't watch the last 30 seconds of episode 2.10, prior to the end credits - stop watching after the logo appears. This way you don't end with a cliffhanger.

There's always the possibility they will remove that very last scene from the Blu-ray set. It's easy to do so, too.

I seem to remember the broadcast version of Caprica ended with "to be continued" and it did not since it was cancelled, and on the Blu-ray set that mention is removed (though Caprica ends up bridging with BSG so it's fairly close-ended), so ABC/Marvel could and SHOULD do that with Agent Carter season 2.

A shame it was axed. It was better than Agents of SHIELD imo.

No chance of a matching steelbook now :(
