Thought that as soon as I heard the news. A real shame, both over the loss of the show itself as well as the second season steelbook.
It was like a one-two punch for me news wise with both this & Castle being cancelled.

It's still possible for a steelbook could happen for season 2
If season 2 is to get a Blu-ray release and the fact that season 1 Steelbook sold out fast they might still do one

It's Marvel (with ABC Studios in this case), never underestimate their ability to deliver us some steelbooks .

Zavvi knows they could do another exclusive 2,000 print run and it'd sell out, so it's always a possibility.

Not surprising this got cancelled really... there's so many superhero shows nowadays that I can't imagine people being able to or even wanting to watch them all. I'm sure this won't be the last show to be cancelled, and it's exactly why I'm so hesitant about buying steelbooks for TV shows.

I didn't realise it had low ratings but when I compare this to agents of shield this was much much better and stylish.
Agents of shield looks like a low budget channel 5 drama like the 100 or under the dome with worse acting a awful special effects.

At least the acting and story line was good in this season (can't comment on season 2)

I can still see a Steelbook happening for season 2 though considering this sold out

I was well up for agents of shield at first and I watched a few episodes when it all started and it was horrific.
I've seen a few more episodes of more recent seasons here and there and it's just laughable.
Like I said same league or even worse than the 100 and under the dome

I gave up on Agents of Shield a long time ago........ Agent Carter was great fun.... Figures go down in America, so the rest of the world suffers!!!! They always seem to cancel the ones you like, and keep rubbish like Bones, Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow and Agents of Shield going. RIP Agent Carter series.

I actualy like Agents of shield. It gets better as you watch it.

Love Agent Carter though, it's a shame it's been cancelled. I'm not sure the second series was as good as the first . Hopefully we will get a season 2 steelbook.

Zavvi listed a steelbook for Agent Carter season 2 in the wee hours of the morning. It was only up for about an hour or two & then the listing was pulled. Seems like Zavvi jumped the gun by listing it. This is the artwork that was up on the page.

Zavvi mentioned yesterday on twitter they have a surprise release announcement for today
They said they are not allowed to give any hints it's a secret
I would not be surprised if it's this Zavvi not great at keeping secrets

Something is been announced later today whatever it is it could also turn out to be something completely different altogether

Its possible what they were hinting at was the Blair Witch steelbook, which they revealed just under an hour ago.

There's no bluray release listed anywhere (that I can see) for Agent Carter, so I think the listing just went live before they intended it to, they might be waiting till the bluray release is announced to actually announce the steelbook.
