Ahh.. thanks. Got one over on the newbie. I missed out on this when it was up. Big mistake not to order and have regretted it ever since. Been checking Zavvi pages once or twice a day like an addict.. so would have been surprised I missed it if it did come back in.

on a sidenote - i tried the link and its no longer available to order from amazon.uk

amazon will never have this all orders for Aladdin Steelbook will be canceled if placed on amazon
the same happened with finding nemo and roger rabbit
its a marketplace seller trying to sell on amazon
Zavvi Exclusive are not allowed be sold before a release date on other site
after release date then that changes

zavvi do have partners as in zavvioutlet also the hut group there the same company
zavvioutlet do sell on play.com and amazon but there not allowed to sell Zavvi Exclusive on amazon until after its been already released
With play.com they have the ok from zavvi to sell pre orders under zavvioutlet

but it is amazon's fault for letting it been on there website
Morally I would not do what you have done but that's me

Ordering will help Amazon. They need to be exposed to the error otherwise nothing will get done about it.

I'm being [only slightly] sarcastic. What I am saying is true, but I know it can sound a bit jerkish.

However, I did place an order for that reason. The order went through just fine, and I got a confirmation email and it is still in my order history. In my opinion, that's ridiculous to be able to get that far with a completely bogus listing.

We'll see what happens.

I agree with you on that Zavvi are getting all of them which is great for collectors but would be nice if amazon went after deals also with film distributors for exclusive releases and we had more choice and range
there can be a loss on some releases if not sold out as usually the profit margin on exclusive releases are small and you have to agree to take all 4 or 5 thousand copies or more with small releases of 500 you usually are ok
so can be a risk not so with most wanted titles that's why there are polls on this site to see what interest there is in a title been released

It work out ok for customers still if not sold out as they usually end up been sold off cheap but this makes retailers think twice if to go ahead with a limited release were they must commit to large qty

I know this myself from been a buyer I have turn down exclusive releases even with artist willing to be in the shop for a instore was a big name very big name artist but stock qty was to high and know would never sell that amount or even near it and was proven right as the sales of this release was a flop pretty much ended his top sales status
