For those who dont know it is often typical for studios to do a small amount past the print run to cover damages and/or use for in house promos etc.

Towards the end of fiscal years this stock can also be shifted to retailers etc if they so choose to purchase.

This is your friendly HDN alert that Zavvi will most likely be taking on this amount of stock

The stock when live probably wont last longer than a day. (or a few hours...)

But we were able to talk with Zavvi and allowed to share this info as a step further in their commitment to collectors.

ps. im sure if it goes live and you think you can place an order for 100 its gonna get canceled.

For such a limited amount of stock that was obviously going to be popular amongst collectors, I'm surprised they let you order 3 copies (unless you placed the orders under 3 separate email accounts, of course).

I'm pretty sure there was no limit to how many one could purchase. They might cancel people that ordered more than 5, but any lower than that I don't see them refusing or cancelling orders.

3 different accounts, yes. But I think the time was important: 2:54 p.m. - on stock, 2:55 p.m. - out of stock. Maybe somone else can confirm.

That's just tragic. Stuck for six hours at the airport (AGAIN) due to pointless cancellations. And then this happens. No TWBB for me.

If anyone is able to help a fellow collector, I would be forever grateful!

My dad who has Parkinsons came over to me, put his shaking arm on my shoulder - asked me, "what is it son - you can tell us". I explained I missed out on a decent drama steelbook - limited run and quite pretty artwork. He then smacked my on the back of my head, while my mom asked politely if I can pack my suitcase and head back to the Philippines while signaling to the dog something. The dog then bit me on my calf.....thus I limped out of the house, suitcase in hand, knowing there will blood is in stock, and it's on my sock.

Life continues - erections are more important.

I don't believe there is a limitation on the qty you order per order, beyond the '5' that is listed at their site. If obvious bulk orders come through they may cancel as they have before, on other titles, but that's me, personally, guessing, not based on any info received from Zavvi. Not sure what they'll do here, though, that's something they would decide internally.

Nope, There Will be Blood's awaiting despatch, but From Dusk Till Dawn's still awaiting stock pile for me too. My fingers are crossed!

Hi guys-as promised earlier, we made an immediate effort to get in touch with Zavvi to see where we could send all of our broken F5 keys. And, they have sincerely apologized. As 'turning on' an item is manual process, there were some factors occurring at the last minute that could not be communicated right away, which made this very special opportunity and announcement for everyone who is a member at HDN, start later than expected.

Our hope is and always has been to provide the best possible info in our community so you can snag these limited eds and be a part of these unique very limited time opportunities, often publicized at HDN. Reasonably, unexpected things occur, as was the case here. There is always room for improvement for any community, and any retailer.

To those who stuck with us over the hours, and PM'ed me, posted, etc, during and after the announcement, in all 3 release threads, price drop thread, and this alert thread, we heard you, and we hope no one was let go from their jobs, children did not lift off the ground while flying kites that you were holding before the items went live, and no dogs or cats were put in the dishwasher in any haste....



We know how stressful these limited time sales can be-we're collectors ourselves-and no one takes your time for granted.

I think we've been stung by scalpers, would-be scalpers and a few kite flyers hanging in there to stir things.

Pretty sure that those who ordered more than one copy will be refused seeing there was only 100 to go at. time will tell.

Surely time has come for Zavvi to check customers ISPs as a matter of course. If ISP doesn't show no sale, if ISP is linked to several accounts no sale, end of!

Well, well, they apologize - and sincerely; I wonder if they would like to sincerely apologize and fulfill the orders they orginally cancelled/refused to fulfill, and would implement the ISP check I have suggested that, to all intents and purposes puts an end to scalping of their limited ed steels?

Kind of doubtful, to put it mildly; but surely if we don't complain, and bitterly, nothing will ever change - it works just like politics you know!

I wonder did you manage to get a copy of TWBB, or miss it like so many others here - self included?
