I don't think this set is going to come down much in price, guys. It has been around more than half a year and the price has hardly come down from its £100 pre-order level. In fact, it had even gone up to £120 for 3 months between Feb and May.

Don't know if those of you out of Europe can get it at £83.33 net of VAT which makes it very good value. I must say this is my happiest purchase of the past year. Being a Hitchcock fan, I'm especially glad with the poster art replica of each movie besides all the other memorabilia that come with the set. I pre-ordered this at the first instant because I really would not want to risk it becoming OOS and then OOP. Now I am enjoying each movie in sequence with the bonus of a beautiful Boxset to admire. :)

Go for it, guys. Don't miss it if you are a true Hitchcock fan.

It seems the best anyone might hope for is to catch it during any bargain deals if this remains in print until the holiday season. I managed to snag mine off of Amazon UK last year for £86 after shipping to the States. Still pricey, but a pretty solid deal for what you get and worlds better than the regular box set. Easily one of the personal favorites in my collection. :)

^ congrats. We non-British are lucky to be able to buy it without the taxes. Even then, buying all 14 blu-ray separately would likely cost more than £100. And this Boxset is not just elegant, it comes with really lots of extras. The other option perhaps is to look out for a coupon code to use. :)

Yep this hasn't dropped in price since release but it is still in stock after all this time. There is always hope that there might be a price drop at some point in the future.:)

Grrrr, Had my eye on this for some time, Was looking online at Amazon UK last night and it was around the £100 mark. The reduced price of £75 must of happened in the middle of the night because i have this thread subscribed on instant. Received the Email on my phone this morning, launched myself out of bed to check on laptop and guess what... its now gone!

Was it a 'lightning' deal anyone know?

It was in the Amazon deals of the week so there is a chance it may come back if they get more stock.

I hope so!

Any way you can subscribe to a specific item on Amazon and get an email if the price drops?

I'm not sure if you can do that? I know you can get back in stock notifications but I don't think there's anything for price drops.

Damn. Well, I check the price more than once daily and I'm on HDN very often so I'm sure I'll catch it if it drops. But hopefully not until next month, cause that's where I will have money for it. :p

Install the PriceDrop add-on in Firefox, it allows you to track items on Amazon and notifies you when they drop.

Is it available for chrome? I'll just check since I don't use firefox.

Edit: and btw, item went down to 75 once again but was quickly gone.

I had been watching this for a while waiting for the price to drop. It went out of stock at Amazon last week and then came back a few days ago, initially at the original price and then a quid or two more. Sp it may be that there may be more stock. I actually bought one of ebay last night, which it just typical, otherwise I would have got it from amazon.

Yeah pretty sure it's available for Chrome.

Gutted I missed this for £75, that would have been peanuts for so many classics, a lot of which I don't own on blu ray.

I'm still hopeful this will come back in stock again.

Same. I noticed the pricedrop but it seems like everyone bought it instantly cause I could not buy it on that price even.

Even though I am actually wishing this for my birthday I hope they get in stock anyway. Maybe I'll buy it.
