lgans316 that looks great.
'tis bittersweet seeing you gloss these steels (Alien quad & Black swan are two of my favourites.) I won't be able to look at my dusty matte steelbooks the same again. :hilarious: I still like 'em but now I see 'em glossed I know mine will seem inferior.
Woe is me. FWP. :p

A quick question, I got the zavvi aliens but have been holding off on ordering alien, alien 3 and resurrection due to rip off price, would you recommend getting this and just selling my zavvi aliens? As the new steels don't seem that amazing anyway, and I could probably pick up the anthology for about £30, much cheaper than the four separate steels

I saw this going for under the retail price a short while ago unsealed and I didn't like the design on the back and I'm not too keen on film trilogy/quadrilogy steelbooks either. Sure it's cheaper, but personally would rather have individual steelbooks but it all depends on what you like.

If you stick around you might be able to get this for under £30 on auction sites like eBay and sealed.

I have this unwrapped but in mint condition. Was thinking of selling it to replace it with the separate Zavvi steelbooks. Would this be worth my while? Are the separate ones as good? Really not sure. Hmmm.... what do you think?

me thinks that depedens on your storage space. I'm running out so prefer collections like these ... individual steels take more space.

just my humble opinion.

I prefer to have all my movies in individual steelbooks so I've got the separate ones. But obviously each to their own.

With Alien 5 announced, that might make a difference to your thought processes. Do you want a set of 4 with a 5th on the end or do you want all 5 in a row?

If you look at that way, no body should ever be buying trilogy/quadrilogy steelbooks because almost no movie is safe from studios nowadays. They create sequels to even movies with definite endings. Or sometimes prequels or other -quels  You cant blame them for wanting to cash in though. Especially now Sigourney is onboard and plus Neill has proven himself in the sci-fi genre. It's a guaranteed to make money whether the movie itself is good or bad. :dunno:

Did you ever find yourself at a retailer years ago behind some guy who was buying the new boxed set of Harry Potter 1-4 (or 1-5, etc.) and think quietly to yourself, "Brother, you can't be that stupid...."??!!
