It feels like and looks like a better quality matte than Kong. In fact, the Steelbook itself feels a lot nicer and sturdier.

My one feels noticeably different from my Kong steel.
Side by side of the finishes on the two Steels, they look different to me, plus Covenant looks crisper IMO.
The only difference between the two is the color. Same finish. Looks good though. Watched last night. Was awesome!!!
It looks good for the art that it is. Front is obviously better then back. Back has some streaky paint due to the black ... but to it defense its how you hold it ... tilt one way , black tilt another way and you see what people captured above. Seeing as how the alien face his hidden like ... when you tilt not into the light (which makes sense for the purpose of the art) ... to be dark ... then you dont see that and it looks creepier and that should be the point.

You mean Japan steelbook. Yeah, i guess 4k steel will be around 7000yen.
The movie hasn't even been released in theaters in Japan yet. So probably no JP steelbook this year.
I really want this steelbook. But it's gonna be seriously hard to get one...
Its funny how many crapped on Prometheus but not Prometheus next to this movie is looking so much better. Watched Alien Covenant last weekend and while there were some cool parts Prometheus felt like a better movie. Perhaps the best cast of actors ,and of course .... storyline. This one had more horror where as prometheus more sci fi
