E3 secured, I'm content but I'm also worried Filmarena won't deliver upon their announcement of releasing the rest of the movies in reverse order, we all know how certain prior announcements have turned out.
I keep thinking they'll deliver this one and Prometheus then apologize for the fact that they can't continue with the rest due to conflicts with Fox and new artwork etc etc.
My other crazy ocd worry is that I already own every Alien film in non premium steel form which has uniformity and I like the order of them so I cancelled my HMV order to save cash for this release (father of three, can't afford to double dip anymore) now, if we get FAC releases of Prometheus and 1-4 there's no denying they'll look great together but now my regular steels will suffer as they are missing a regular HMV Covenent
I kid you not, I actually had a half hour conversation with my wife tonight before committing to this release on what to do...
God, I adore and hate this hobby at the same time
I'd also like to add folks, as Ridley has talked Prometheus 2 and various sequels within this universe in interviews what happens when in a few years there are no Filmarena announcements for those movies, hmm hmm. Or will Filmarena even be in business then?
All joking aside, I think I need to calm down, there's a ton of franchises that get sequels years later and never see a steel release or movies with sequels that have unmatching spines etc, there's a few that spring too mind and they really bug me within my neatly organised collection but I need to get over myself. (Wolf creek 1 has a steel, 2 amaray form. Arrow release a nice steel for Foxy Brown but I have to deal with my Coffy amaray, sacrilegious, the list goes on)
Anyway, fingers crossed we get FAC releases on the rest.

Decided to stick to my guns and go with the Manta version
Haha I still can't decide. One thing I know for sure, I need to cancel my HMV order because I just can't bring myself to like that front artwork. That said, I would need to replace it. My problem is this:
I like the Manta front steelbook art, but not too thrilled with the rear. I like the FAC front AND rear steelbook art. The FAC E3 comes with the steelbook where I like both sides, and a slip where the cover art on the slip in the same as the Manta art. So I would technically get he best of both worlds.
So, go for FAC E3 right? No, Maybe, well I dunno. FAC E5 is just the steelbook and a lenti magnet. Cheap and cheerful, and would be the easiest replacement for the cancelled HMV.
But then the Manta full slip has that awesome white look and Alien artwork on the front.
Plus with the GB fees, PP, etc I think it would be cheaper outright for the Manta steel, but the shipping may be more? Haha, OH MY GOD I'M GOING NUTS! lol

That's what I decided, but I think this steelbook is going to be a killer, just like Logan. So I'm weak and I changed my mind.
Ideally, a win on the Euromillions tonight would solve our problems. We could just buy them all!
Has John @ Manta confirmed without doubt they will release the whole Alien franchise with WEA?
If I'm to pick up the Alien films in premium (even though I do own the standalones 
) I'd like a complete set ideally from one retailer. Don't really want to be mixing and matching lol.
