Looks good but I too am annoyed that it is not gloss!

Got some scratches on mine on the back to so will have to send back for a replacement

makes you laugh, glad i held off on this one now could see zavvi screwing it up somehow and was proved right.
also regards felt this one was being a bit over egged to buy it by certain people here no names given they know who they are, so the next ones in series if sold well and you guess they aren't going to be happening now not after the returns the recieve now!

so it now becomes a one trick bad pony, options keep it cos like film but know will not get any more or return it get your money back and send zavvi the clear message back, i know what i would be doing but thats just me.

Thing is, I still would've bought this had I known it was matte, and I'm sure others would have too... it's the fact they lied that's really annoyed me. I'm not going to return mine, but I'm not sure where I'd stand even if I wanted to... I didn't realise it wasn't gloss until I'd unwrapped it.

i doubt they flat out lied to us.. there mustve been a misunderstanding between the studios and zavvi

Mine arrived today its a terrible flat/dull matte finish the colours are really washed out as well. It needed a gloss finish & stronger colours as it stands this is a very poor steelbook.

Well I'm afraid to say that's their problem. We were told it'd be gloss... it isn't - whether that was intentional or not, it doesn't make anyone involved look good in this situation. Hopefully we at least get an explanation/apology from them, but I'm not holding my breath.

That aside, it's an okay steelbook... will look nice lined up next to the others once they're released.

sorry i stand corrected but question becomes who is going to trust them with next 2 bearing in mind just read the old chestnut artwork to be confirmed as per normal or have another £37.48 to risk on quite what it might be?

zavvi don't exactly stand tall on there pre-order prices like last years problems, i think the wise will hold off till is hand of others like this one has just proved.

I don't think we'll know till it's actually released. That one doesn't even state the finish on their page (not like that matters anymore now).

Oh god, don't say that! Fingers crossed they'll double check after today's fiasco.

Side note: I wonder how long they had these sitting in the warehouse. Surely they would've seen they weren't actually gloss before charging people/shipping them out...?
