Got my 2 lenti's today. This time they did not say they needed a signature. Weird. They just left it on my mailbox. My tri-pack still awaits me at the post office. Won't be able to get there before they close until Saturday. Oh well:( I was only planning on opening one of the lenti's anway.

My Lenticular B just arrived... Beautiful.

One question, anybody got any ideas on slipcovers to fit this thing? I don't want to unwrap it until I know I can protect it.

I use the free plastic slip covers on the other exclusives. You can order them here. However I am not sure if these will fit if the steel book is still shrinkwrapped.

I have Steelbook Central protectors, but given the lenticular and booklet, this wont fit. I'd like to find a cover that the whole thing (steelbook, lenticular, booklet and slip) could fit in.

I might buy a jumbo and alter it

:oohyeah::oohyeah::oohyeah: Tripack is waiting for me at home:oohyeah::oohyeah::oohyeah:

I am very curious what number will i have.

But customs made this pleasure little bit harder to feel:cool:...theft during a day

I have a few sleeves that I can test it with when mine arrives if no one else has responded. No tracking updates since May 8th so maybe it will arrive in the US soon.

I shipped with EMS to USA along with Pianist multiple versions...so total is around 200 dollars....will I get stung by customs...??

Till now I never had a problem but was using K-Packet...

I have ordered $300+ from them at a time and have never got hit here in the USA. Technically, I think US Customs can impose a charge around $200 or so, but I think they rarely do so, if ever. I know there is a limit for customs in the USA... anyone here ever been charged?

My copy hasn't turned up yet which means only one thing. Customs charge.... Any time an item is late coming from the USA or any other non European country for me it's means a customs charge.
Bummer..........

So the postman was nice enough to redeliver my package today and not require a signature (which it shouldn't have needed in the first place). I'm guessing it was a substitute postman the day I was supposedly left a slip that I need to take to the post office to pick up my item. My tripack is now safely on my steelbook shelf. It's bigger than I thought it would be. Luckily it didn't melt in our 100 degree weather here in Southern California today.

So this is my first lenticular steel, and I gotta say, what I understand to be the intended effect - magnet sits flush inside the void left by the debossing - does not succeed (the magnet protrudes considerably past the cover's surface). Nothing to do with Kimchi I don't think, I'm sure all lentis are like this, just an observation.

Speaking of - and I don't care about this one bit, just curious - wasn't the title supposed to remain unembossed to facilitate the aforementioned effect? It's not the reason for the protrusion (a magnet that thick is simply taller than the depression created by debossing), but I remember that being stated as the intention, no?
