Are you interested in getting this release and if so will you go direct?
You do know that weet is an absolute disaster going direct especially when it comes to marvel movies.
Yes and no. I remember placing my orders in literally 20 seconds back then. Unfortunately the site couldn't handle the latest 2 releases. Did they fix that? Did they upgrade their Pentiums? ;) It would be nice to know prior to go direct...
If ordering directly costs too expensive with shipping, maybe a GB would be cheaper for you, with regular $17-22 shipping.
Shipping is the same either if you go direct or through a GB and it's an outrageous amount of money when it comes to shipping from Korea to Italy (and Spain it seems). I paid like 40ish euros to have my last Nova's shipped to me...

No, because it depends of the country you live.
If GB HUB is located in USA or HK, people who joined to a GB have to pay:
- Shipping from retailer to HUB
- Shipping from HUB to the country

If going direct was 38$ via EMS shipping (only option available as K-Packet is not an option), going via GB would be more expensive than that, for sure. Plus fees, with is the source for GB hosts or GB runners to carry on doing that for "collectors".

Also, GB's can make orders for editions in advance (before DIRECT), but that's why many scalpers have "options" to get access to that many material to resell for x2 or x3...
As people who pretend to scalp can join to some GB, and buy multiple editions with no rush to resell right after the "sold-out".

So I'm not going to join any GB because of that (and when DIRECT could be am option, even though GB's take out all the stock in advance).
Remarking I saw "close people" from GB hosts put on sale editions which were "instant sold-out" and some editions appeared magically for selling for much more money than buying from the retailer.

What a business around here, when others take or steal other's chances to buy direct, at a retailer price.
With no more added value than what they bought all the available supply to resell later.
Wait... That is not an addition, but the price is increased by x2 or up to x3 times anyway.

Wow another river cried. How many more rivers do you have left?

Seriously dude let it go or take it someplace else. F'n hell. Nobody else gives a F***.

Can you please put all this information in your profile description?

Please stop spamming all release threads with the same information. Nobody gives a second thought about your ethics and how things should work but they dont.

That's cheap via ebay. A GB price via f&f was about $86USD. So you got that at a smidge under cost price, maybe less depending where the seller got it from.
Pre-covid, I can remember WDPung having them for below cost (after shipping) during is first round or 2 of sales. I’m not sure how he did that.

The locals are able to purchase at lower cost than international buyers and thus can still make a sale on the bay for cheap enough to make a bit of profit

Im talking about HDZ now, not weet. I don't think pung ever stocked hdz? Weet though, yes. I remember buying gotg2 and CM from him for less than what it cost direct upon release. Bloody brexit and covid, ruined everything.

Uhm? Really? I just tried to give ppl useful informations based on my personal experience. That's all.
Dunno why one should think I did it for different reasons :/

Thanks for hide my message again just back (once again), but people read everything as usual, and they draw their own conclusions :thanks:
Is this what @Flloydo was referring to? Just because I've shared my personal experience? Geez...
Look, as I told you before, I tend to agree with what you're saying: I hate scalpers too and the whole "I give a lot of copies to GB's prior to release date" issue, but I also tend to adapt to situations when I can't change them. Also, I tend to skip reading a thing if it's recurring over and over again.
I used to go direct but now it's more and more difficult (mainly because everyone seems to be interested in premiums these days, damnit) so I use GB's and pay a small fee which is normal to pay to someone giving you a service. I don't see anything wrong in this TBH.
I've never skipped a release one way or another, it just depends how far into this hobby you are. For example paying 40€+ to Nova for shipping is absurd but what can I do? Also, this is not scalpers-related.
Sometimes I fail to see your point but I don't have any harsh feeling against anyone here so you're just wrong about me...
Peace.

Think it's time to quit collecting for you
