There isn't a whole lot between the GBP, the Dollar and the Euro at the minute. Pretty tight.

I voted to stay but we obvious as a whole we didn't by a small margin and for like over 2 years running we've been paying more than we should
Wish they can just agree a deal ffs and move on so back to $1.5 - $1.6 per GBP and 1.3 euros per GBP hehe

I'm no economist but I doubt that. The more you need to import, and you will, the lower the pound will go. May be wrong but think that's sound.

The GBP will get weaker after ANY deal regardless I'd imagine. For a while anyway.

My point is it keeps rising and quickly. Sometimes it drops again for a few days but will rise again.

Yeah, just having fun, it's a noticeable % drop for that time frame, I agree. But I think you will have to get used to the new exchange rates. Think of it this way, they would be lower had the EU not agreed to a brexit extension.
