There is NO Armageddon-Steelbook from amazon.de.
"Das fünfte Element" is in english "The Fifth Element". There is no connection between Armageddon.
OK, Bruce is in both movies... But that's all.
Definitely not as bad as i thought. Very simplistic design which i love.
OOPs sorry you're right. I mixed it up with the other steelbooks that has Bruce W. on the cover, whatever it's called...

Yeah I believe THAT's the title I got confused with Armageddon.
If there was a German version it would have the blue banner, printed back, fsk printed logo, German title, the works, you name it!

Just finished watching this on a 240Hz Samsung LED - WOW! Most folks will disagree but the photography and art direction are superb. Michael Bay risked exposing the actors' flaws with his close-ups but with HD video, it truly demonstrates his skill in capturing those shots - sharp, focused throughout with the most excellent lighting. I believe this was captured on 35MM film which could be a display nightmare if not done right. This one was done superbly right.
Hopefully Disney/Touchstone will release a fully-packed steelbook edition sometime soon somewhere

Is this the first time it was made avaible to blu-ray? I can't remember the last time ive seen this movie.
Edit, I just checked and it appears it has been released before on Blu-ray. I hadn't come across it myself though. I'm not sure whether this is the same transfer as that one.
