finally! I'm super pumped for this release. I really don't care the price, I'm going to buy it regardless, but 17.99 & Gloss, please.

Will be biting the bullet on this one as I need to complete the steel trilogy (quadrilogy if you include the remake)

Toy story 2 is the best from the trilogy for me.

Many would also argue Godfather 2 is the best in the trilogy (Not me though)

Shame the steelbook is great but the disc doesn't sound as appealing.
I've been looking at getting the German version for a while but have yet to bite the bullet but not sure if this release will cater for my needs?

As cooey said, the German version rocks the house. :scat:

But the steel of this is appealing for any Evil Dead fan.

Empire is easily the best in trilogy!

guys....

when i watched my trilogy i found AOD to be by far the worst of the trilogy... for straight horror i found Evil Dead to be sublime for such an old movie... great original camerwork and a cool creapy "lost in the woods" atmosphere ...for Dead By Dawn Ramini added some genius unexpected humour elements at the right places to make for arguably the best movie in the series...

….but AOD is jus all out comedy done badly imo ....any1 who has not seen this might be in for a shock considering the praise it gets here….

Vastly overrated
IMO

:movie:

For once I agree with you

Ben Kingsley always steals the show.

How about Lady Vengeance too, much better than Sympathy for Mr Vengeance.
Toy story 3 may be close too, at least on par with the first film.

Disagree. Lady Vengeance is the weakest of the Vengeance Trilogy (but still a near-masterpiece).

Having just watched the spiderman trilogy again it reminded me how cool Bruce Campbell was/is.
You've got to get this one to see him at his comic best.
IMO :D

I wish they had done a true Doom film with him starring. That would have been the biz.

Drunk. We all know empire is the best of the three, but that is another rare club... What middle films are the best in the trilogy? The two towers, godfather 2, struggle after that

Two Towers was my least favorite of the trilogy. I like Fellowship the best.

Blade II is easily the best of the trilogy.

The Dark Knight is also the best one.

I agree on both counts.

I love both Godfather and GF 2, but I'd have to give the slight nod to the first one.

That's funny, but by watching him in Burn Notice, it has made me forget he was ever cool/funny, man that show is poor

:yeahthat: I tried watching it a few times and thought it was poorly done each and every time I attempted to watch it.

Back on topic, AoD is easily my least favorite movie of the trilogy. It's one of those movies where I found myself wondering why I wasted my time watching it.

I always wanted to watch Burn Notice but never got round to it. Guess I'll skip it if it's as bad as I've heard here. Still gonna purchase this Steelbook for sure.
