i preordered it at the first day and haven't got any gift from them. All they did is offered me to buy a tie. i am 100% sure i was in the first 1000 who preordered it.

thus Expression of Their gratitude is just BLA i assume.

i got upset and cancelled it

I was wondering the same thing now that I saw your post. I pre-ordered it to go with the first Steelbook and I did it back in December. Never saw any "gift" either. I would be suprised to have 1000 orders before mine. Do you recall the order # of yours?

I pre-ordered the minute I received the notice in my email. I did not receive a "gift" unless it was a "Holiday / Christmas" card from them in the mail with a real signature. I cant quite make out the last name: signed by John Agosioro?

It basically comes "open" in a resealable plastic sleeve.....just noticed a few minor paint flaws too . But overall a nice looking, really clean steel....now I have to get part 1.

I received mine in the mail yesterday. I ordered both parts 1 and 2 in Blu-ray Steelbook (no personalization) and damn, they're sexy! They're both G1 size and they came in a USPS cardboard box, but no packing material (there wasn't any room left, lol.) As was already mentioned by spawnshop, they're not sealed but in resealable plastic sleeves. I'm pretty stoked!
