I actually enjoyed the movie due to the plot ... but havent seen the 2nd ... almost made it out to theater to see the 2nd. I'll grab the 2nd as well.

Me too. The part I found odd was they basically recast the entire film. That seem completely unnecessary and a poor choice. But have not seen Part 2

Oooh I can be an extra, ooh movie's coming soon etc etc and then the one thing that I might be interested in (a steelbook), considering they got my email address because I bought the first one, they don't bother sending me an email about. Go figure!

Although I was disappointed with the 2nd movie in general, I am a big Atlas Shrugged fan, and do hope they finish up the story with Part III. I went ahead and ordered this. It's a shame that the 2 steels they put out are G1, but a very cool idea with the 1st being Rearden Steel and the 2nd being D'Anconia Copper. I skipped the personalization. They put your name on the disc, not the case.

Blind buy - will probably by the first one too. I like the clean simple look of these, plus I heard it's a good story. Hope I'm one of the first ones to order this......Wonder what the surprise is?

Hmmm interesting weird though that they don't put the name of the movie on the cover just the company doing the steelbook. I might get this, I was thinking last night it might be fun to get to 100 G1 steelbooks haha I have 68 and was looking through the few of the US ones I didn't get and most can be had for less than $10 as they were the cheesy titles when they started to flood G1s at the end like Strays, and a Guide to Recognizing your Saints and Dog Soldiers.

The cover actually has the name of the company in the movie that produces copper - d'Anconia....it's made up. Like if Iron Man was to have Stark Industries on the cover only. The first Atlas Shrugged did the same thing with the steel version - Rearden Steel.
Ingenious idea i thought.

I really liked the first movie. The fact that they couldn't get the same actors kind of scared me. Part II was in theaters for a week maybe two. Not sure I would want to pay $30 for this.
