Update: Novamedia boss and staff in HK today. Questions asked...
Why was HDN GB cancelled?
They ignored the question or don't understand English.
Server crashed on Friday Preorder ?
They said they can't rent server like Amazon one, can't afford
Anything left in your cart automatically deleted.
That's all I have to tell.
was this from NM's FB Page

Knowing they can't successfully handle this amount of traffic they truly should consider another route for getting preorders handled. Granted the BF method is extremely time intensive it is effective. I don't blame them for not being able to afford higher end servers, it's expensive and I'm sure they're not making a fortune to begin with.

Building a relationship with a forum like HDN could be very beneficial for Nova and HDN and prevent these major issues. Nova could open a preorder thread and advertise it on their website. HDN gets traffic and Nova can get a consolidated list of purchasers. After they've sold out their international inventory or were ready to collect payment they could create a password protected item on their website that is PM'd to buyers signed up on the thread and give people a week to purchase. This would prevent mass traffic from crashing their site and build a good supporting relationship between the two sites.

Just my two cents and I know this would never happen. :)

Amen to that...

We have the server... Infrastructure and more importantly the Staff/mods/fanbase!!! What else can you ask more???

Oh and we speak English :D

In response to the FB and now HDN slagging that's going on now towards Nova and indirectly towards John.
They are a tiny company born out of dispute within Kimchi. They work extraordinary hours to satisfy their customers.
They are true friends of John @Masterblaster. They helped him through this difficult time he was having.
YOU should stop whinging and whining about not getting a steelbook. YOU have another chance.
Life will go on. Believe me.

It's only a steelbook-and frankly-of a film that currently has little replay value compared to age of ultron

John works tirelessly to create the GB's and get copies to HDN members which shouldn't be taken for granted and it wasn't that long ago people were bitching about kimchi's servers

If I get one-fine-if not I'm not going to lose sleep over it

It still will be a mayhem on Thursday to try grab a copy in for this title but i will try my best and good luck to the rest who are hoping to try there luck the second time around...

I'm just hoping they change the date or time as I won't be online for an hour after it goes live and I doubt there will be no chance there is stock left after 5 minutes let alone an hour
