Thanks and I know for sure that you mean it sincerely, because I know how you are, but hoenstly, why would there be any reason to hope for something better than last time, and all the other times before that with Drive and every other huge release. Novamedia managed to (once again) massively frustrate and literally infuriate almost the entire steelbook collecting community last Friday. ahhh. sorry. none of this is directed toward you or anyone here at HDN. I'm just upset by this way. Novamedia has made a very fine package for Avengers. It looks spectacular! We all love it. We all want. It is dangling in front of us, and come Thursday... I dunno. I dunno. We can hope eh?

Hey Jimmy, I have not taken any offence to anything you are saying. Don't apologize for being frustrated. All of us have been on the end of a dead screen, crashed server, or other retailer glitch over the years. I have a huge collection of movies and Steels, and not all of them were simply obtained with a "click of a button", lol.

All of the staff has worked with Asian and other companies who may be experiencing direct to consumer ordering problems, or where it's easier for some members to obtain items, to get copies to members via group buys or other methods (store listings etc). 1000's of members have been serviced via group buys with Staff members pitching in to ship on their own time for several years-and this is and will continue whenever it is possible. In this instance with this vendor it simply was not possible given these circumstances-but as mentioned a few times, all efforts were made to make ordering this title easier.

The "good luck" was meant sincerely as you said, because I know how much our members who are huge Avengers fans would like to add these to their collections. In the rare instance that HDN, Staff or one of our very active group buy leaders cannot help, all we can say is "good luck", and hope that any server/ordering issues are resolved on the retailer's end. For Nova's sake, and the sanity, limited diaper supply of our members, and for good business' sake, I do hope these issues are resolved, but HDN cannot affect that outcome further-it's up to the individual retailers' choices and plans, going forward.

I wished that novamedia did 2 characters a front slip and had them all linked so if put side by side to each other it would have a nice picture.

Yeah a continuation image would have been nice, that would have tempted me to get them, maybe even a continued image across the spine. I'll add these reasons for not getting the full slips to my logic. :thumbs:
