I forgot to put No to invoice when i bought mine i sent them an email and told them i don't want the invoice with my steelbook they said they wont put my invoice with my steelbook.
Oh that is a relief, I've just sent them an email asking the same, hopefully they get back to me soon to confirm. How long did they take to reply?

Whoa whoa whoa! Not very clued up about buying things from overseas but you say there could be problems if the invoice is in with the package?? Can you explain why please mate? Can I change it with Nova Media not to ship it with the invoice? Really worried now! HELP!!

Yes, email Nova straight away and ask them to change the details to: Value $20, Merchandise, and No Original Invoice.

Customer service is fine in my experience, and they speak great English

If you don't do that there is always a chance that Customs will open your package - if they do and the original invoice is in and says, perhaps twice what the declared value is, then you're in hot water - worst case scenario (doesn't happen very often, but possible) is that they charge you with atttempting to defraud HM Revenue and Customs.

p.s. In total agreement with @DodgyDave and @psychoscot - Nova are the equal of anything, and as for the quality of the slips I personally feel Nova and FilmArena are top of the tree

edited for typos/additions! :)

I went with, gift $20 and no invoice!
Should I try and change This to merchandise?
This is the first time I've ordered from overseas and I'm a little concerned now!

Thanks

I've always used Gift, $19.00 and never had an issue, and that includes any EMS or K packet shipment. Of course different countries may have varying scrutiny but, hey ho, anyone who is declaring less than the actual value is a law breaker, so should we all here hand ourselves in to the cops ...? :naughty:

Its not a good idea to mark as Gift when ordering from a online retailer
The reason is the retailers name is on the customs slip
Its very obvious its goods purchased from a shop

Gift is fine if its a parcel sent to you by a friend as a Gift
Gift is fine if its sent by a group buy host but it would be recommended if payment was made for these goods they are marked as merchandize
Gift is fine if its film distributor or a company sending you promotion material that's not for resale as no payment for goods have been made by you

Notice for international customer.
Thank you for your consideration about our product.
Recently, we got some reports from our customers who got decliend by local custom from its inspection for your package. For that matter, we are suggesting to mark an order as 'Merchandise'. It is for your own good

So basically NovaMedia are asking customers when ordering to mark as merchandize and its best to choose the option of saying no to original invoice and pick a value of $20.00 when you pick mark as merchandise

Although I completely agree with this, I accidentally put "gift" for my kimchidvd x-men and memento (both separate orders) and I wasn't charged and I live in the UK. For future reference always try to put merchandise however, if you have put gift and you can't change it, hopefully that will put your mind at ease a little bit.

For those in the UK saying they put gift and weren't hit, it's also down to your postal codes. Those with postcodes in "officially recognised upmarket" areas WILL be hit basically because you're good for it. Where as those in cities will be less lightly to get hit. There are always exceptions to the rules of course.

Is this a problem in your Europe on does it happen in the US too?
European countries mostly were VAT Duty is required
VAT is payable on goods when the value is over
Ireland €22.00 Euro
UK £15.00 UK Pounds

USA not really affected
Customs Duty is not charged if the value of the imported goods is up to US$200 in USA
